I was able to attend the soft launch while I was in town visiting family.  I'm not a fan of large crowds, so it was perfect for me. Everyone was nice and friendly. The food was good and my friend enjoyed the drinks. Had a chance to chat with one of the owners, he was super cool and down to earth. We laughed when I requested to let the chickens age a bit more. The wings were on the small side, but they were open to the feedback. I'll definitely stop my on during my next trip home.

Moral of this story is that we had horrible waiter. Everyone else that came in after us, which it was only 5 of us, were able to get their drinks and hookah VERY FAST. We seen our “waiter” everywhere else but at our table! And if we didn’t walk out and get chased down & told to come back because we “opened a tab,” which was 30 minutes ago, we honestly probably would’ve never got our drinks. After receiving our drinks & closing that tab our “waiter” never came back, even though we asked other waiters could they ask her to come back over for us to start a new tab. The drinks were good though so good job to the bartenders!!

The service was awful the waitress I our things out and never checked back on, then the hookah tasted burnt like they the favor was burnt or they don't wash hookahs correctly, then they didn't have hookah tips had to wait on those, they also gave me fake liquor and refused to take it off my ticket and I didn't even drink it. I ordered patron but when my went to order some she was told they been out of it. I will never return here, drive a whole hour there it was a waste of time and money

I hear that the re-open of this place will be just awesome. I hear that there will be a upgrade to the Cru that was there before. Good drinks, good smoke and now good food. I can hardly wait to catch a vibe a t Cru Birmingham. I hope to see you there.

I worked the grand opening of this location a couple years ago and worked the whole next week and NEVER got paid. When I went to the manager about it, they fired me for complaining. This is THREE weeks one week of training of labor unaccounted for, not to mention grand opening was the Magic City Classic weekend. I had lawyers set up to get what was owed to me, but I decided to let the Lord handle it. I hope the ladies running this place doesn’t do anyone else like that.

Slow service, but the servers are sweet. It took 20 minutes to get 2 drinks and the bar was empty. We went a few months back for the first time and didn't go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the reopening of Cru!! The service was attentive, the drinks were on point, and the ambiance was such a vibe

Torica was so sweet she explained why my hookah went from $37 to $55, when the server didn’t explain nothing at all. All the server said was taxes and fees. The fact that Torica went step by step with the handheld and gave me a refund was everything to me!!

I prefer the Cru’s in Atlanta. Although this location is bigger being charged $3 for a cranberry back was outrageous.

I love the vibe there. Sharon was probably the best bartender ever. She was sweet and helped me pick the best fruity drink on the menu. She was being pulled a thousand and one ways but she still made sure her bar was taken care of. 10/10 would recommend.
