An absolutely superb team here. Luna visited for neutering and the staff have been wonderful with this process and the aftercare. Not only were they supportive of Luna but also me also a very nervous dog mum. Special thank you to Helen who fully understood this and went the extra mile to make us both feel less stressed. A truly amazing practice that puts their patients at the forefront of their minds.
All of the team at Stroud Road Vets are absolutely fantastic, couldn’t of asked for better care for my frenchie Lola and myself when she was unwell. She loves every staff member there and would happily stay all day for cuddles. It makes a nice change to not have the vets be a stressful experience and completely trust them to take care of my pup when she needed it the most.nMicheal was knowledgable and talked me through all of the options and stages leaving me confident that she was in more than capable hands. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Extremely rude and insensitive vet. Completely ignored the reasons I visited and talked incessantly about my dog being euthanised. Was more concerned with how my reaction to his lack of empathy was offending his professional sensibilities than caring for my dog.nnI will now have to take my dog to another vet for the basic care that I had hoped to receive here. I completely welcome the vet in question to call me back via the number on my account for some additional feedback if required.nnEDIT FOR MY REPLY:nYou have proved once again how truly passive aggressive you are by blaming me for being upset by your lack of bedside manner.nI am upset by your approach not by the policy! How truly despicable.nnYou did NOT provide the care I asked for. As you were too busy talking about the poor state of the uk government and telling me my dog was to be put to sleep you failed to hear my request for basic tick/flea treatment and worming medicine. Had you not been so self involved maybe you would have better listening abilities.
My Rottie, in particular, absolutely loves a visit to Stroud Road vets. He is so excited to see the staff due to how lovely and caring they are. They are always so excited to see your fur babies and have so much compassion. They clearly love their jobs, and it really does show.nnAll the vets within the practice are fantastic and so knowledgeable.nWe have mostly be seen my Michael.nnAfter some bad experiences at a previous Vets, I know I made the right choice in moving practice. And I know I will never need to move again.
We have used Michael for our past two terriers care.nWhen he opened Stroud Road Vets we followed him there too because the level of care he and his staff deliver, is second to none.nMy Patterdale has had a few health problems over the last couple of years and has had to undergo several surgeries under Stroud road vets care. He is a nervous and sometimes reactive dog but I haven't been worried about leaving him in their care any of the times he's gone in.nMichael and his entire team have been such a great support and have treated Dexter fabulously. I recommend them to anyone now for a relaxed, attentive and friendly atmosphere with regards to their pets health and wellbeing.nnThankyou Michael & team
