A good sized garden center not far from us. Has a nice cafe which can get quite busy at times. Sells bedding plants, bushes and trees, perennials, veg plants. Has bird stuff, tools and fancy goods. We have a loyalty card costs around £12. For that we get 2 cuppas a month, offers and money off future goods get points for how much you spend which converts to money on your card. Worth a look round.
Attended the Mini garden club this morning with my husband and granddaughter aged 6. Wow what an amazing experience it was. Denise took the class of c10 children aged between 4-10 years and she had them spellbound. The kids learned about bees and pollination, decorated and built a plant holder with their adult helping, planted 3 beautiful mini plants and had a wonderful time. It was very well organised, they all had so much fun and listened to Denise who explained everything they needed in a warm and encouraging way even sorting out their little ‘errors’ along the way. I am so grateful to Denise and Stringers for providing a fantastic family experience in a safe environment!! Loved it thank you!
There's a huge choice of well kept quality indoor and outdoor plants to buy. A nice gift section with cards, books and all kinds of outdoor items. The cafe serves great coffee, wonderful scones and cakes etc. The staff are lovely. There's outdoor seating too.
Been past so many times without venturing in, I Had absolutely no idea they had a café. Staff are very good and friendly, good service, decent price and quite a selection of buns pastries and cakes et cetera. Unfortunately, Coffee wasn’t the best. I’ve tasted, sorry just an opinion. Plenty to choose from in the garden centre itself, with some quality looking items for sale. Why not have a look at the pictures I posted
Our first visit to this hidden gem of a garden centre. Very well laid out with extensive and varied selection of all garden products. Cafe also first class, excellent staff and good service Very minor critique, I had 3 pigs breakfast try it very good and filling but would be better if served on a larger plate.
Excellant service here. Staff were very helpful with my purchase of a water feature. There are lots of garden based purchases to be made. Could easily kit your whole garden out from here. Does get busy at a weekend though. On site cafe as well. Would recommend and will use again.
First time visiting will happily come again had a hot chocolate and a second very nice indeed got myself a plant. The isle are great can get pram around well laid out.
The plants you get from here are in realy good condition and at a reasonable price. The staff and food here are second to none,sadly we were here on a hot day when the doors of the conservatory were closed due to noisy work outside which made it very uncomfortable and we left without finishing our dinner, having said that we did get a full refund with apologies
Me n my hubby came for breakfast by the time mine came my husband had nearly finished his..when ur a couple u want ur meals together so u can eat together..so today experience wasn't very good ..but usually is nice that's why we go back.
Lovely garden centre, friendly staff and well looked after plants. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Can’t fault it!
