Dropped into Costa Coffee at Strathclyde Retail Park for a coffee and a bite to eat before visiting my sister's grave, and sadly, it was a disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow, and the café itself was in a poor state of cleanliness.nnDirty tables were scattered throughout, with full trays left abandoned, making it difficult to find a clean place to sit. Even the counter area where sugar and stirrers are kept was cluttered with used trays, giving the café an unkempt and neglected appearance.nnI want to emphasise that this isn’t the fault of the staff, who were clearly working hard under challenging conditions. They’re doing their best, but it’s obvious they’re overstretched. Considering how busy this location is, the management should absolutely be providing more staff to help maintain standards.nnThis kind of experience reflects poorly on Strathclyde Retail Park as a whole. Costa is a popular brand, and people visiting the retail park expect a certain level of quality and cleanliness that simply wasn’t met here. While this might have been a one-off, it’s left a bad impression, and I hope management takes steps to address these issues for the sake of both the customers and the hard-working team
Great 1 stop location for most things without having to go far afield.nJust did some Christmas shopping. Stress free. Brilliant
Plenty of shops at the retail park, a huge variety of stores and a tremendous walkway round the whole complex.nnHowever the car park can be a little bit of a nightmare in the afternoon. There are plenty of parking spaces although they are very small.
Visiting retail park for first time. Found great dey of shops. Found all staff in shops I visited to be extremely helpful and friendly. Will use again
The retail park is great, plenty of parking, plenty of shops but a cash machine or 3 would be handy. Not everyone likes to pay by card some prefer cash payments for keeping track of their spending
