Beautiful place. Offers Nice long walks, woodlands, picnic areas, fishing, boating and other fun activities. Absolutely gorgeous.
Good walk quiet before 9am. Some different terrains are good for training. It's been well kept. However, some parts could be better. The only bad point is the ridiculous speedbumps on the property. They are way too high, they do their job but if you visit often expect excess ware on your car! Playground: New playground just built Dog-friendliness: Good walks for the dog
Lovely new playpark, not fat from m&ds. Wish there was more open toilets on the path around the Loch. I wish there was more bins on the way. I took my little girl for a walk with me and she noticed there are lot of rubbish being left on the path. We had some ice cream from m&d and I had had to carry melted ice cream nearly half way as there was no bin on the way. The toilets available are only at m&d and the sport centre which is half way. There are some public toilets on the way but they are closed. It's a shame as it is a season after all. Apart of that it's a lovely, lovely park to walk, great views and very pleasant walk especially on a sunny day.
My favourite park that’s with in a reasonable driving distance. Easy to find parking, beautiful outlet, never too busy, peaceful and a great walk. My only complaint is the lack of toilet facilities Restrooms: There are not enough toilets of walking around the whole park. It’s is very restrictive for those with a weak bladder. The hotel, M&Ds and Leisure centre allow you to use there toilet, it would be great to have more options especially at the food van and child play park. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of grassy areas for my dog to run freely, she loves this park!
Nice Loch with good pathways along the water. If you want to walk around the whole Loch it's around 5.6 km I believe.
Well maintained park. Great for a variety of things to do, I have spent many hours walking and running here. Great for dog walking too. Plenty of car parks meaning you don't often struggle to find a space. It can be busy on a peak summer evening however the expansion of the paths has made a great difference.
Great Park lots of walks, lots of car parks plus it has M&Ds amusement Park on site. Walks are suitable for wheelchair users as most of them have been proper paths which also makes it great for walking in the rain Playground: A couple of play areas at both ends of the park plus one in the middle Restrooms: Few areas with restrooms Dog-friendliness: Usually lots of dog walkers, most dogs on lead. Couple off lead but normally very well behaved Picnic area: Lots of areas to picnic throughout the park
Stunning country park was up here for the half marathon event but a serious lack of toilets for large events Restrooms: Limited number of toilets
A great opportunity to walk with the family around the lake 1 hour, have a small picnic and children play on the many swings and playgrounds >4. And for those who love history - see the remains of the Roman baths. Playground: many game shells around the perimeter of the lake Restrooms: There are toilets at the boat station
