I had a great stay here for a business trip. I had just a basic single room but it was spotlessly clean and had a nespresso machine which was great. The room size was also quite decent given that it was London and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous and had everything always ready. The staff are all lovely - I remember the porter Anthony was very kind and helpful as were all the other porters and waitstaff for breakfast and dinner/at the bar. Location is also amazing and cannot be beat. I would stay here again and recommend it to others for sure
Stayed here a few times. The hotel has decent character and the staff are very polite. They have a newly refurbished gym which was decent too. We ate at night and the burger was very nice!nnThe downsides… first, the walls in the rooms are not soundproofed at all. Of the three times I have stayed here we have not had a good sleep at all as you can hear people talking all through the night I have attached my sleep pattern as evidence!. A fundamental of a hotel is your sleep, and will not get a good one without ear plugs!nnSecond, do not have the breakfast. There are so many better places to eat. It isn’t self service, we queued for a very long time, the food was basic, and coffee was dire!nnNot sure if we will return in the future.
Stayed briefly for a business stay. My basic double room was well appointed overall and comfortable and a good size for a basic room. Only quibble was the double bed was against the wall so for a couple it was a little unconventional but the bed was comfortable and the pillows was nice and full and comfortable.nnThe rest of the hotel was beautiful, sophisticated and modern. The room finder screens were a nice touch for what is a big hotel. Staff were all excellent, courteous and helpful and overall it felt like a prestigious hotel. A good stay! Recommended!
I regularly stay in London and love this beautifully renovated 1930’s style hotel. It is in a fabulous location opposite The Savoy, a few minutes from the river and Covent Garden- a brilliant location for the theatre, business or sightseeing. The rooms are modern and stylish with everything you need, on the smaller side, but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are great too. Its feeling of calm efficiency belies how busy it is. Breakfast is great and the central areas downstairs are well laid out. Of particular note on our last two stays was the warmth of the reception and check in. Special mention to Michael, who has exactly the right tone and approach to make us feel welcome and valued.
Fantastic Stay!nnI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect — right in the centre, close to everything you could need. The place was absolutely spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early, which was a huge bonus!nnThe staff are amazing — so friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I had a single room, which was small but perfectly suited to my needs — comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped.nnA special shout-out to the door staff, who were always smiling and couldn’t have been more helpful. Their warmth and positive energy really made a difference.nnI’ll definitely stay here again — highly recommend!
