I'm a fan of this Strada. It can get very busy at night, and that sometimes means a longer wait time for the food, especially if you're like me and you like ordering random bowls of olives after everyone's already eaten, and it's somewhere after 9pm already. But I really enjoy eating lunch there. They even let me order pizza without the cheese, since I'm allergic to milk products. Speaking of which, their veg. pizza with the goat cheese is really good I had it without, but I'd imagine it would taste good with the cheese too, if that's what you're into.
A lot of people have rated this restaurant quite highly. I think they must have dulled taste buds or rather low expectations to start with. I felt this was nothing special - pre-cooked food heated up in the microwave. My partner was equally unimpressed. The wine we got wasn't that cheap, but tasted rather nasty. We also felt the noise level from the street was surprisingly high, probably due to a lack of proper insulation. We're not going again. It's not horrible or terrible, but if you want to spoil yourself a bit and have something worth at least remembering for a short time, this isn't really it.
Really good place to taste the true italian flavour ! Thann u! Try the lemoncello truffle ! Awesome!
Good Italian food and service. Also take Taste Card. Middle of North hill in Colchester.

Colchester Strada is now closed. : It will be missed.
