With new wardens after 11 years with the old ones what a change can't speak highly enough of new wardens waste disposal area checked and cleaned daily rather than weeks with more work done in a day than a week with old wardens.nLovely walks from site and golf club just across road open to all great food etc plus a camc you get 10 % of drink/foodnJust a great location and very easy access from the A 38.
We were looking forward to staying here for a few days. The stay was nice and relaxing with a dog walking facility, however one woman with 2 sharpei’s didn’t want to use it and would the grass area at the front of our van! The woman on arrival came across rude and her body language came across like we were interrupting her day. The site itself is lovely and quiet we still had a peaceful stay however those 2 points above have put us off revisiting. Also we didn’t see any maintenance men/women while we were there. Really enjoyed the fish and chip can when that visited.
Excellent site, friendly staff, good location. No shower block, so cheaper rates.nStover Park and lake is right next door and lots of good walks with points of interest. Free access.nFood and drink available at nearby Golf Club.
Well kept caravan and motorhome site in Devon. Conveniently situated to reach main resorts such as Dawlish. Teignmouth. Torquay. Brixham. Totnes. All within half an hours drive. No toilet or shower facilities which is great for us as we prefer to use ours in the caravan. Golf club opposite which welcomes guests and non members. They serve food and drinks daily and the clubhouse is very welcoming.
Our first visit to this site. Small site with no frills without toilet block or any kind of facilities. Suited us really as it was fairly quiet and we don't generally use facilities anyway as we prefer to use the ones in our van.nWill stay again.nUpdate: been back to the site in 2025. Still a lovely quiet site. No problem booking a pitch at short notice. Staff were much friendlier than some CAMC sites we have visited recently. Loved it.
