To set up my new IPhone and IPad (which were drawing from two separate email accounts to synch over iCloud) took over 9 hours (across 2 visits) in store, and was ultimately unsuccessful, yet the Apple store in Covent Garden sorted it out in under an hour. The store also doesn't stock all the relevant accessories, so I left the store with an expensive new IPad but no protective case. The staff try to be helpful but seem rather more focused on selling the kit than helping you get it set up, and then they lose interest and patience when it takes some time. "Appointments" are supposed to last 20 minutes only (which I wasn't told in advance) and can be interrupted by other customers. In my experience there's a tendency for the staff to over-state how easy set-up will be, and you risk spending mant hundreds of pounds on something that doesn't do what you expect. If what you need is more than an off-the-shelf purchase and straightforward "restore", it's worth the £10.20 train fare to Waterloo and a walk across the Jubilee bridge to the Covent Garden Apple Store for help with set-up and a wide range of accessories. Excellent professional service with speedy turnaround... I was updated daily via text as to when my laptop would be returned... Jason and Jordan assisted me in booking my laptop in and setting my laptop back up! Both were very knowledgable, helpful and really friendly :-)

Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Matthew sorted me out with a new iPad very quickly, helped me decide which model was best for me. I am very happy with my new purchase. Thank you so much! Would definitely come back again :-).

Absolutely rubbish service, untrained staff, as they work at a retail sector they need to be more helpful and not moody. They promised me a service which they refused to provide later and made me look like a liar. Majority of the reviews are negative for a reason.

Always helpful. Why wait around at an Apple Store or book a genius appointment, when you can just go here! You must remember that this store is going to be busy, you're in a tourist town where Apple products are hugely popular and in demand. Despite this, the staff are relentlessly helpful, and always resolve any issues. This isn't an Apple Store, but this is an Apple Premium Reseller, this means that they are licensed BY Apple for pretty much all aspects of the store. (You can always ask them what this means, to put you at ease!). If you don't fancy wasting petrol money getting to Reading or London, it's worth talking to the guys here, as they'll be able to pretty much help you with all your Apple queries, and if they can't, they'll do their best to instruct you as to what to do next.
