Fantastic flooring at a very reasonable price. We were able to easily order free samples allowing us to better understand the options and what we felt would look best in the rooms we wanted. After ordering, communication was good and our order arrived promptly and well packaged. I think the results speak for themselves!
The colour, grade, quality and price have been a treat on this product. Also easy to wipe clean. Highly recommend this German/Swiss laminate by stories. Brilliant service and quick delivery. However I do recommend setting aside 2 days for your project as these require attention to detail when fitting such nice flooring and herringbones do usually take more time than your standard laminate. Unlike other laminates these didn't crack and break easily when fitting and are of the good standards. I will be sure to purchase for future projects and will update this post over the next few months to report on the wear n tear elements.
Great customer service to start with. Ordered Kronoswiss laminate flooring which was at the best price on the net. Kept in the loop regarding the order at all times and i even asked to delay the delivery, which wasn't an issue. Would definitely recommend Stories flooring and will hopefully be using again soon.
Don’t let the low price fool you. Horrendous experience… after 3 deliveries due to constantly damaged boxes and flooring… the joiner eventually laid the flooring to find it was swollen with water ingress and left with a floor that doesn’t look right and £400 out of pocket. All flooring looks as though they’ve had moisture in them not visible until fitted and have been left with nearly 3 packs of unusable pieces… my advice would be go with an official stockist or a company that warehouses the product and has full control of their supply chain.
As evidenced by the other 1 star review, do not expect them to accept any responsibility should the product fail to live up to expectations. We had 3 fitters attempt to fit the Bentley Palermo flooring but the ends simply wouldn't click together. All said the product was poor quality and demonstrated how fragile the plank ends were as you could snap them off with 2 fingers we should have paid attention to the warning sign of several boards being chipped and broken straight from the box. Within a few months of fitting the ends of planks were snapping and the flooring coming apart. Correspondence with stories initially seemed promising with them contacting the manufacturer it turns out Bentley is stories own brand. In the end they accepted zero responsibility for their own poor quality product blaming incorrect fitting yet also accepting no responsibility for their own conflicting fitting instructions. A total waste of £750 for us and an all-round terrible customer experience from the moment the delivery guy crashed in to our hedge to the moment their junk flooring went into the skip.
Great service. They sent out samples in good time, once we decided on which one we wanted it is a lovely product. Service was excellent when we needed an extra box to finish the job. Would recommend!
I ordered Stories Flooring's oiled oak solid wood flooring in September and we have just had it installed in our dining room and living room. It looks incredible. The wife and I are really pleased with the whole process from ordering free wood flooring samples to purchasing the floor. I spoke with Scott as I needed advice on a couple of things and he was extremely helpful and even threw in some free underlay! I can't praise Stories Flooring enough and highly recommend. We are thinking of buying their engineered wood for our kitchen next.
Really happy with my Lusso Portofino Dry Back Herringbone Treated Birch herringbone lvt flooring, and the service from Stories. It looks great and is easy to keep clean and great value too.
Ordered some Lusso flooring for a study in November last year and the price and service were excellent. The flooring is very good and looks great. We were so happy we ordered further flooring for our Hall and Living Area and again the service and price were very good. Highly recommended.
I had been researching LG Hauseys LVT wood plank glue down flooring. I had several different prices, then I saw the Stories Flooring advert online. I got a quote and it was the most competitive price I had been given, so I placed an order. The whole process was straightforward and the delivery was as promised.
