Missed our bus to Lands End. Called Stones Taxi, they immediately sent a cab to where we are. Reliable and very friendly. Driver was safe and nice too. Strongly recommend.
Absolute shambles, taxi booked 2 hours in advance, 15 minutes late and then decided to phone to say would be another 10 minutes . Woman very rude on the phone . Not the usual lovely woman who runs taxis most nights ... only because driver decided to do wait and return instead of stick to schedule . Cancelled taxi on the spot as left us in the cold , saw that they were just hanging outside beachfield for no wait and return , usual fagging spot !
I’ve recently used Stones a number of times and the service has been fantastic. The dispatcher is lovely and all the drivers I’ve had, Lee in particular, have been friendly and really helpful, collapsing and stowing my daughter’s pram, waiting for me when I’ve been running late, and always being on time or early so we’ve never been stuck in bad weather. Would highly recommend.
Great service. I've been using stones for a long time and they are prompt, honest and happy to chat if you wish.
They were very quick to answer the phone and very polite, but unfortunately they did not have a 6 seater available.
