It's alright... The gym is clean but small... only 3 benches for dumbells and no calf raise machine, only 1 squat rack, 1 smith machine, 1 flat bench. Swimming pool is OK lessons are provided for the kids who have monthly memberships... in the most part the staff are fantastic. But theres been one or 2 that have been rude and completely incompetent. Disabled changing rooms have, at times, been diabolical.
First visit this evening for a swim. Lovely lady on reception and enjoyed our swim in one of the fitness lanes. Lovely pool, will be back next week!
Joined after being members at Nuffield for many years and I love it. The equipment is great, well looked after and the gym is very clean. The staff takes time to answer queries and the gym is welcoming. The lady that takes the aqua class is brilliant, listens and acts upon anything you ask.nMy one criticism is that the changing room could do with more working hairdryers, as three are out of order - I now take my own.
Lovely staff, always will do what they can to help. So friendly. Not their fault but car park too small for gym n pool at peak but bigger one further down. Blame sbc for poor planning- they own the mns Car park too n unsurprisingly that's too small too.
Only been here a couple of times for the fun and floats session and my daughter loves it.nIt's a shame it's only half the pool used as it can get a bit cramped so allowing the older children who can swim to use the other half for floats might help.nThe changing rooms are clean, there are plenty of showers and the pool itself is a lot warmer than the one at Stafford.nWould recommend it to anyone.
