Myself, my partner and our 4 year old visited Stokesley Leisure Centre to use the swimming pool facilities today. We were very impressed with our visit and liked that there was ample parking available and that the pool wasn't overly crowded we visited on a Sunday morning. Plenty of changing cubicles available, including family cubicles, which we utilised. Lockers take £1 coins or tokens and there is free to use hair dryers and a swim ware drying machine available also free. We used the small children's pool which went to a maximum depth of 0.8 meters. The children's pool also had lots of floats, balls and swim related toys in it already, which was great as you won't need to take pool toys yourself unless your child prefers something specific to them. There is also a larger pool available which is aimed more to adults and children able to swim unaided. Attentive life guards look over both pools independently and there is a nice viewing area overlooking both pools for anyone not entering the pool area. Vending machines provide beverages and snacks in the lobby area and there is also the facility to weigh yourself 50p cost to do this. All in all a nice little place for a swim, we did not try any of the other facilities available during our visit but we will be returning again to swim.
I only used the swimming pool here up to now. The large pool is good, not too cold compared to others. The small kids pool is fantastic. The water is lovely and warm, and there are usually plenty of toys in or around the pool for the kids to play with. I have a son with Down syndrome, and this is the best swimming pool for him to learn to swim in. I have been to a few leisure centres for swimming and this one is far the best. It doesn't get too busy or noisy. And the price is the cheapest I have found. I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a child with learning disabilities and don't like a lot of noise.
Love how this pool serves the surrounding area but the pool temperature is freezing and the water quality is so poor. Dead bugs and spiders, and other things floating about. The surrounding areas to walk and the changing rooms also really dirty. It could do with regular cleaning.
The team are all really friendly and keep the facilities clean and tidy. Great combination of facilities for all ages and fitness levels to enjoy.
Recently, I had the pleasure of going to Stokesley Leisure Centre, and I have to tell that it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was welcomed with a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at ease the moment I walked through the door.nnThe Stokesley Leisure Centre had excellent amenities. The staff was helpful and attentive, ready to help with any inquiries or need. A nice and hygienic atmosphere was created by the location's thorough cleanliness.nnAdditionally impressive were the amenities of Stokesley Leisure Centre. The seating areas were cosy and roomy, and the restrooms were kept up properly. The building's aesthetic appeal stemmed from its thoughtful design and attention to detail.
