Freshly cooked Cod, thick and sumptuous with properly crispy batter. Really tasty chips, correct consistency curry sauce and a nice large buttered bun! Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! It’s definitely worth waiting 5 mins for the fish to be cooked fresh! Excellent guys, keep up the good work!
Great friendly service, freshly cooked in expensive food. Perfect fish and chips.Food: 5/5
Lovely haddock good size and plenty of well cooked chips. Served by a cheerfulady.
Went in the bin unfortunately. Slimy chicken, very basic salad no red cabbage and few black chips. Chilli sauce wasn’t bad! Won’t order again
Sorry, hate to leave a bad review but I’ve never really enjoyed food from here. I always ask for scraps of batter on my chips and they never put batter on without having to be reminded, which would be fine, but when they make you wait outside you can’t remind them, and so it’s missing and you don’t realise until you get home. This happens every time, not just once. Also asked for a carton of gravy today and got mushy peas. Too late by the time you’re home to do anything about it. And the food just doesn’t taste good. The fish is always just a bit soggy but the main problem is that the food tastes like it’s been fried in old oil that’s been reheated numerous times. I always forget how bad it is, or want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this evening’s meal is the final straw. Won’t be ordering from here again. Kind of wish I’d just had toast or something for my tea. I’d feel a bit less sick and wouldn’t have the greasy re-fried oil aftertaste in my mouth.
Zero stars! Unfortunately google doesn't allow the option of giving zero stars. Food arrived two hours after we ordered it. You will probably have shorter waiting times in an NHS emergency department. When the food did arrive, the chips were clearly fried the day before and reheated. Fish was over cooked and greasy. Everything was covered in so much grease, you would have thought the owners are massive John Travolta fans. Felt sick afterwards. Unfortunately In terms of fish and chips Arora’s is not the one that I want. Disappointing. Stay well clear!
Order was 30 minutes late. They sent a battered sausage instead of a smokey sausage amd also forgot the curry sauce. Could understand the delay in the order due to staffing issues but the order wasn't even right
Normally it's good, last time I was in last week fish was just ok, chips were horrible , possibly off lunchtime. Shrivelled and over cooked. Time to raise your game.
Friendly staff, best fish and chips in the area, will be back again. 10 out of 10.
Too long to wait. Nothing ready. Should take order as you walk in door not have you wait ten minutes before even asking what you want
