Long overdue but Stitches altered my wedding dress for me - which at my incredibly short height had about ten miles of fabric needing removed! I cannot fault their service. Their attention to detail and their customer care was fantastic. I had used them before my wedding dress for other alterations - and I’ll be using them again for all my future needs too. I’ve been to other tailors in Leeds - but these are the best and well worth coming into the city for.
I have had 2 dresses altered this week Beata measured me and I came for my fitting on wed. Today I picked up the finished garments they are amazing and fit me perfectly I would highly recommend stitches if you need a very professional alteration done. Would definitely use them again. Jean
Not recommended. Worst place ever seen in my life time for alteration. They don't know how to take measurements and if the size doesn't fits you will blame it on you and then will ask you to pay the whole amount again. Moreover they will charge you in cash so that you can't claim your amount.I went for alteration of my trouser this morning and they took wrong measurements, I provided a sample trouser as well for the length but then too they ruined my trouser. 15 pound for trouser alteration, please save your hard earned money people. I was not able to do so as I was in a hurry, but please go to someone worth the amount.
I recently visited Stitches for tailoring services and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of work done on my jeans. The tailors at Stitches are truly talented and professional, paying close attention to every detail to ensure a perfect fit. The end result was a pair of jeans that not only fit me like a glove but also looked amazing. I would highly recommend Stitches to anyone in need of tailoring services, you won't be disappointed!
Definitely not recommend staffs do not help with the measurement and they have done a wrong size for me and really upset when I told them they didn’t like it basically said it what it is like or bot can’t do anything about then on the way out she try to be sarcastic and told me have a nice journey and laughed with their friends absolutely unprofessional behaviour! Overpriced too ! £32 for just job worth only £10 !
Took my Mother of the bride dress to Stitches to be altered on the shoulders. The work they have done is beautiful, I can't even tell it has been taken in
A shop were you can amend/alter your clothes. The service was really good. They get it right all the time. Customer service is very good too. There’s a space for you to try your clothes on before and after alterations. They give a date you can come back to get your cloth and they’ve never disappointed. It’s quite pricy in my opinion but you will definitely get value for your money.
I dashed into Stitches at 11:30am, juggling two babies in a double pram and a dress desperately needing shortening. The friendly lady at the front desk I wish I caught her name! was an absolute lifesaver. She helped me wrangle the pram, assisted with measuring the dress, and offered expert advice for the alteration. Plus, she promised the dress would be ready by 3pm – a miracle for a frazzled mama like me! True to her word, the dress was perfect by 3pm. The tailor's work was impeccable – the hem was invisible, the fit flawless. But honestly, the star of the show was that amazing front desk lady. Her kindness and helpfulness made the whole experience so much smoother. Bringing two babies into a city center tailor shop could have been a nightmare, but she made it feel like a breeze. I'm beyond thrilled with the results, and I'll definitely be back for future alterations. Thank you, Stitches, for exceeding my expectations! You're not just skilled tailors, you're all-star customer service champions too.
Pricing has increased way beyond the cost of living and they’re so rude! Used to use them all the time but now I use Zipyard in Chapel Allerton.
I had an imagination of what my dream dress would look like with time ticking and the big day coming up, you came through, everything I imagined was a reality, I felt like royalty. Thank you so much
