The bits service is not the most reliable service in Stirling. It's a give or a miss. The actual bus stop is great. It's the buses that are a problem, lol. The bus drivers are mostly unfriendly, but there are some really amazing drivers who are gems. It's a pity really, I'm sure more people would take the bus if it was more reliable.
Stirling bus station. Let’s talk about a place that hasn’t changed in years. Last time I was here I was a young adult over 13 years ago. Has the place changed, no. Still the dark green bus station it has always been. I guess it doesn’t need to change but you could go back to 1997 and you wouldn’t be lost. The glass canopies still need cleaned, the internal bus station is now a void of nothing and you can hear the echos of the past. This used to be a very busy place. Covid has a lot to answer for.
All is excellent except there is no arrangement for toilet once it is closed, mean after 6pm on weekends & 5:30pm on weekends. There should be some arrangements.
The woman who is normally at the service desk is very helpful. She made me feel at ease. While helping me negotiate a tricky application. Thanks lady at the desk.
Dirty and cold. Old, freezing and expensive busses on Stagecoach services. Alas, some of us do not have a choice.
