There are buses for all routes at this station so it connects you to all major city and also its just below the thistle centre where you can do shopping . There's alos a indoor waiting area where you can view all bus schedules on screens while you stay warm. And the train station is not far from it either.
I'm the owner of a mobility scooter and the last time I was in Stirling at Hogmanay . I was trying to get to Lendrick Lodge and was charged £55 . It's a disgrace to be robbed in my own Country. On Friday 23 January I arrived at Stirling City Bus Station and asked for a ticket to Calendar. I was able to drive on to the bus. Then the driver came over to me and gave me a return ticket. Thanks for Your Kindness. My taxi driver came 10 minutes later and took me to Lendrick Lodge and I paid £15. Thanks Jimmy Mcphall Taxis in Calendar.
I visit Stirling at least once a month. Got my first Charlie bear and stayed at the Stirling Highland hotel . Full use of swimming pool, sauna, steam room and breakfast in the morning
Have never really had a bad experience with buses till now, yes there's been the odd late bus but sometimes we can't control traffic. Today however I went to get the 51 to Alloa which should stop in Stirling, Causewayhead, Tullibody and then finally Alloa, I double checked I was getting on the right bus, it was in the correct stance had the correct number however to my disappointment once we reached causewayhead the bus driver took a different turning, oh right I think maybe there's road works on the usual road. No. The bus driver for some inexplicable reason decided he was going to go the 52 route. Thoroughly disappointed as was hoping for a quick journey home for my lunch, instead I know have to wait even longer as we are only in Alva and mine is the last stop.
As basic as you can get. Bunch of bus shelters on the street. But it is right next to a shopping mall so you can kill time in there if needed.
