There are many varieties of food available and one can get delicious food in 10-12 euros. There is thai, asian, chinese, Irish, lebanese food available and one must try food at this place
I love this food market! There is a great choice of food options, something for everyone. I went there multiple times and tasted food from different food trucks. You can have a nice lunch break with colleagues or not and spend around 10-15 euros. Some options can be more expensive then others, but you can choose wherever you want. Queues can be long enough, but they tend to move quickly. There are tables and seats to eat there, but you can take away the food anyway.
Tasty options available every Thursday. My favourites are: Falafel, Meat Mafia, Bratwurst. Keep an eye in the clock, by 2PM all stands are gone :
Great choice of food options. There's something for everyone! Some options can be a bit expensive but the quality is very good. The queues can be long enough, but they tend to move quickly. The market is split across 2 sides of the canal. It's a bit awkward to cross from one side of the canal to the other at peak as the bridge is single file. Some of the people crossing have no manners too, but that's not the fault of the market! They see someone waiting ages on the far side but will continue loading onto the bridge
I love this lunchtime market! It's a good walk from work but some days it's definitely worth the trip over. I love the different cuisines available for lunch and the fact that it's all outside makes it very enjoyable. I try a different dish everytime! I only hate the long walk back to the office with my lunch in hand, barely having enough time to enjoy the meal
This place was surprise as I intended to visit Patrick Kavanagh statue and smelled this lovely place. There are enough food choices here for every taste and I just went to one stall packed with local construction workers. Meal of grilled chicken was OK, bit too spicy for me, but as I like to try new things, it was ok. Prices are average, but as there is a lot of construction sites around, be ready to wait if you can at lunch hour. Enjoying good meal, sitting on a bench across great poet and watching canal and passers by was wonderful experience. If you like street food and don't want to be in city center, this is great place to be. With walking distance to St. Stephen's green, you can take your meal there and enjoy that magical park.
I like the diversity so that you can choose what you like
Great mix to suit all, Q's can be long but they move quick
Amazing food every Thursday, makes you look forward to lunch time even more!
The market is great, good vibe, sometimes they even hire street musicians and the food variety is good. My favourite is the Paella Guys but unfortunately they aren't back yet due to corona
