We enjoyed having a good look around lots of lovely things for Christmas and end buying
I totally agree with earlier reviews given of the cafe. Very poor now. Was always a good experience but this morning I visited the cafe with my elderly Mother and we waited almost 20 minutes for 2 lattes and 2 mini mince pies to finally arrive. The system is poor. To add to this, the floor of the cafe was dirty with food everywhere and crumbs over chair seats. Noticed other customers brushing off crumbs and tutting too. Doubt very much if the floor had been swept today as it was messy everywhere at such an early time. Tables were being cleared and wiped and the staff very friendly but the general surroundings were messy. Also, 90p for a mini mince pie which arrived stone cold - daylight robbery. We visited the toilets too which looked very uncared for. Very disappointing as Stewarts has aways been so good.
Met friends for a pre Christmas meal & well worth the drive. Although busy, everyone was happy to help & all customers enjoyed the food. We had Christmas menu & yummy scrummy . Defo go again.
A very poor designed cafe process. The amount of business they must lose from people deciding not to order when they have to wait 15 minutes to have their cakes carried over to their table when it is all sat on the counters. Their old system was so much better. It allowed for hot drinks not to cause massive queues. Heard quite a few disgruntled customers having long waits, which just makes you take up a table for longer.
I came here to look for outdoor pots and I'll be honest, I found the shop lacking. On the drive into the car park I was impressed by how nice everything looked and as it was my first time here, I thought it would be really good. Tbh, the place was way smaller than I imagined and did not find what I was looking for. My trolley also had a wonky wheel. I'll stick to Haskins in Ferndown as the out door area is 50 times the size and is less cramped to walk around.
Helpful staff and A good lunch with ample easy parking. A good place for BBQ and pizza equipment. A good choice of solar powered garden lights
Visited here for the Christmas winter wonderland with the kids. The set up was brilliant. Kids loved it and it was nice having a wander around at the displays around the store as well. All in all it was a fun hour or so. Only downside I would say which is why only 4 stars is given and not 5 is the quality of the gift received for my kids for the price paid. My youngest got a horse and rider set, which fell apart as it came out the package. Most of it is now in the bin unfortunately. Other than that the evening was fine.
Limited menu but what I had was very tasty and this is best way to achieve that. Cakes are fabulous. All your inside and outside gardening needs catered for and lots of interesting nik naks to tempt you.
This is a lovely cafe on the edge of Wimborne. Great for a coffee and a cake or a meal. The new layout and system need a bit of explanation. You get a pager then it is confusing where to go and then your meal gets delivered. Why not just take a table number? Thanks for the lovely cakes and good coffee.
First visit to Stewarts.. Thoroughly enjoyed it.. Plenty of parking, easy flat access.. Beautiful surroundings.. Hopefully the first of many visits..
