Dudley Council Park. This park has improved beyond recognition in the last 5 years. Dudley clearly has either more money or more focus on their parks. It now has an all weather walking / running track around the edge of the park which greatly improves usage. It has all weather basketball courts, tennis, five-aside pitch as well as outdoor gym equipment. There is also a bandstand as well large open spaces used for football and a fenced war memorial which is possibly the most unique thing in the park. The fact a coffee shop has been opened on the site also adds nicely to the park.
It's not a very big park but there's a play area for smaller children and a skate park. There's a memorial to commemorate the local men who gave their lives in the First World War. There's lots of space to walk around or take the dog for a walk. Just off Thorns Road is a small, free car park.
Our toddler loves going here. Iv never really encountered any issues with the park or grounds although we do go fairly early. The cafe on a separate review is great too.
Everything there for kids, families and sports. There is also a small garden centre and a pleasant coffee shop.
Nice size family park. Has a cafe on site. Big grassy areas where families were playing. Has parking off the main road and smooth pathways. Has a skate ramp and gym equipment. Highlight for us was the play area. There's a toddler area and an older kids area. Very clean and well kept.
Nice Park to spend time for families with kids. Dogs are allowed too!!!
Its a great park. Massive land and plenty of activities dotted about.
Nice little park with tarmac walkways and plenty of grass. Dog friendly. Nice cafe with public toilets, on and off road parking. Worth a visit.
The park was very clean and the cafe was exceptional. The Halloween trail was very good along with the children's activities inside the cafe
Great local park to enjoy with the kids, dog or bike. A nice new path tarmac has now been built around the park so wheelchair users can get round plus younger children can rid their bikes or be in pushchairs. Lots of leisure facilities including a children's play area, tennis court, basketball court, skatepark and outdoor gym equipment. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend
