Very nice Butcher's,the cream scones are the best I've ever had. I Was served by Lauren who was very polite,helpful and jaw droppingly beautiful ;-) always worth a visit.

Popped into this lovely butcher while on a canal trip and tried their pork pies. They are fantastic. On the way back down the canal we decided to pop in again to get a few more pork pies. Unfortunately there were not enough as I wanted 24 pies. This was however not a problem as they kindly offered to make some more if I was willing to wait a little while. I had no problem waiting as the pork pies were so good the first time round. Wow the batch they made for us was even better and I am happy to say that these are the best pork pies I have ever eaten. Well done to Steve McArdle butchery

We stopped here on a recent canal holiday, the bacon, sausages (especially the Welsh Dragon!) and burgers are outstanding! We are making a special trip from Lancashire this weekend to stock up!
