Simply brilliant. I've travelled with Steppes many times but this year, they surpassed themselves. I suffered a serious injury whilst in Jerusalem and their care and attention in bringing me home, working with hospitals, insurers, airlines et al was probably instrumental in getting me a positive outcome in my long term recovery. I owe them.
We used Steppes Travel to arrange a weekend break in Istanbul. They recommended an excellent hotel, restaurants and organised a superb guide for us. Everything was superb and brilliantly organised. Thank you Steppes travel!
We have travelled a couple of times with Steppes travel and each time we have had a fantastic experience, trips have run extremely smoothly, we traveled to Antarctica a couple of years ago and then late last year to Myanmar Burma both trips couldn't have been better organised. The guides who met us and took us on our tours had excellent knowledge of the area, were polite and courteous at all times. My husband and I would definitely use them again.
We had a great experience with Steppes Travel. We wanted to climb the Nyragongo volcano in DRC and were also interested in Gorilla trekking. Their Africa team met with us, worked out what we liked, and suggested a very good itinerary. We were apprehensive about the hike up to 12,000 feet but Steppes gave us plenty of preparatory advice and everything went smoothly - it was a once in a lifetime experience. Our accommodation and food in DRC was excellent and all the transfers went smoothly. The gorilla trekking was amazing - only us and one other person and really close! For the second half of our holiday they suggested Akagera national park in Rwanda. That was so beautiful - again great accommodation and food and we had a very knowledgeable guide who took us everywhere for 3 days. We are in our fifties and normally travel independently but were nervous about DRC. Steppes gave us an amazing trip and we would definitely use them again for adventure travel.
We had a wonderful Trip organised to Myanmar. Everything was meticulous in detail and the hotels were fabulous along with all the guides that met on our trip. Will be travelling with you again for sure.
First class travel agents , have been to 6 continents, booking through them North America next year. Have a dedicated emergency telephone number, always manned, the staff have first hand knowledge of all the destinations they feature. Also offer more interesting locations than most, ie Antarctica The North Pole, and many more....
I had a fantastic holiday in Mongolia on a riding holiday some years ago now , but it was so very memorable and well organised and tremendous fun too !!
