We try to visit this garden centre once a week because the people are so pleasant. At our time of life, knowing its a safe place is very reassuring. There are a wide variety of things to look at as well as to buy. The staff in the food hall in particular are very friendly and attentive.
What an absolutely outdated and uncompromising ordering process in Hatties Kitchen. I wanted to order a large traditional fish and chips at a mere £14:95. I wanted beans with it, instead of peas, but the till is only set up for garden or mushy peas. The management said that we cannot change this due to stock control and the programming of the till. WE CAN NOT GIVE YOU BEANS….. SO… I settled for Chilly Jacket which cost you £6.00 loss of sale….. Yet…. You sell BEANS jacket and beans Loss of £6.00 and also future sales, we will not be back….. Oh and I’ve told 6 tables about the fiasco and I’m not DONE !!!! I understand that this complaint has been raised before…… How STUPID IS THAT, talk about poor customer service.
Friendly staff but lasagne awful, very small portion, child's? 1 inch depth, dry, crispy top very hard to cut ! Offered cake as an apology but should have been refunded full amount, oven chips, some salad. Overpriced.
Visited Bingley garden with my daughter and a couple of friends to purchase some outdoor plants and meet for lunch. We found a great range of both house plants and garden plants, sundry items, water features, garden tools, furniture, and pet accessories. The homewares department and food hall are a modest in size but the range of goods was vast- I even bought a couple of gifts whilst there. We had a coffee and a bun in Hatties cafe to warm up after browsing the outdoor areas before continuing to explore the other departments, then we went back into Hatties again for lunch. The portion sizes were more than enough and the food fresh and tasty even if some items were a bit pricey. All the staff we encountered during our visit were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We spent over 3 hours just pottering around, taking it at a leisurely pace. All in all, a very nice little garden centre and we will definitely be back again soon. Well worth a visit if you get chance.
Visited the garden centre yesterday..great access for my elderly neighbour with a zimmer frame and the staff are helpful .We had planned to go in the cafe .The prices are not too bad however we asked for eggs on toast with additional beans but was told it’s not on the menu ?! I was happy to pay for the extra obviously .How ridiculous that they couldn’t do this because ‘computer says no’ .Disappointed to be honest.
The Cafe was lovely, the panini's were gorgeous, and large so wrapped some up to take home. Staff polite and friendly.
The sun was out so we popped down the road for a bite to eat at bingley Garden centre..Some great offers on so chose the Raindow wrap which cane with salad and crisps ..well what a choose ..the wrap was crammed full of Hoummus , beetroot, carrot ,Spinach and feta and all for £10 with a hot or cold drink ...Bargain!!!!....back next week I think ..
Fantastic Christmas displays as every year. Great range of Christmas decorations, gifts, food and drink as well as indoor and outdoor plants, pet items and everything for the garden.
Went here for breakfast staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good but it's quite hard to get around with a wheelchair as good in isles and ramps
Meet some family for some brunch at the cafe. All five of us picked different meals and all five of us were disappointed. I choose the carver sandwich with gravy, there was plenty of beef but it was a very thickly cut at about 10mm per slice, dry and extremely hard to chew. The gravy was bland thin and watery. Given the competition down the road in Harden I can’t see any reason why I would go back to this restaurant..
