Great place to visit, great riverside walk as well as a walk along the old railway trackbed crossing two viaducts. Easy circular walk from the car park in Kirkby Stephen
Great walk round the area . Amazing views from above & below the viaduct. Followed the river back to the start point of the car park . A wonderful circular walk
Very interesting park with the impressive viaduct over the Eden River. Lots of dramatic limestone formations looking upstream under the bridge, and tranquil scenes downstream. Very pleasant walk along the poetry path, with short poems carved into stones telling a story as you follow the route. Small amount of parking on Nateby Road by the bridge.
It was okay. We didn't venture very far so I can't give a very detailed description. The waterfall was beautiful though.
We were expecting a lot more off lead walking on this route but it's about 50/50. You pass through grazing land at several points, which was a pain. There's some access to the river, which was good for a while, and the viaduct walk is fine. Not quite as good for dogs as some reviews suggest in our opinion..
Interesting park with nice views and river system. Would have liked to have spent more time here but we had other plans. Parking is an issue as there is only a very small car park.
Very enjoyable walk, plenty of information about the place on boards along the walks. Poetry on stone was interesting. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of dog walkers
Beautiful, we only went to the waterfall and bridge as was during rain/thunderstorm Will be going back to do the mile walk
