For HGV drivers.nAn old school port, with great helpful staff.nYou park up overnight for £13 & £2 for a shower. Morrisons and other shops within walking distance less than 5 mins a brewers fare & maccies.
The guy at the red zone security gate is really rude. I would think it was a bad day - if it didn't happen more than once. In addition, they occasionally misplace incoming trailers, so drivers picking them up spend their time driving around and searching - the time they could otherwise spend resting . The man in a white Ford, however, is really helpful in locating the trailers quickly - once you report back at the operations centre unlike Europoort, this one doesn't have a publicly available phone number.
Abusive port personnel. I guess they forgot who pays their salaries. Of the three toilets in the parking lot, only one is working, but it is clogged and feces leaks out. Filthy and rude

The ship is due to depart at 11pm and the trucks stop until 2am. When I am going to sleep, I wake up at 6 am.
