We ordered scallops and the chilli fish burger for takeaway. The queue to the counter was long on a sunny Sunday evening, but moved swiftly. I think we had our food within 10-15 minutes. We ate our food in the harbour as the sun set. Good, affordable way to eat good seafood in a beautiful place.
Long wait, more expensive than most, but worth it for us, chips were full & crispy, sausage was great, crunchy batter & tasted great. Partner had Scampi and that was very good too.
Long wait in the queue but worth the wait. Not keen on the chips cooked in beef dripping though!! We shared a goujons and chips
Disappointing, not great for the money and poor service on takeaway. Once you've ordered your food, you're told to go around the back of the building as if to usher you away from the main entrance. We have had a much better experience from a standard fish and chip restaurant. Don't waste your money and time.
It's fish and chips but no different to any other chippy as far as I could tell. Fish batter was oily and the chips were soft. The fish itself was pretty good. I wouldn't have said it was cooked in dripping unless I read a sign saying so. Was expecting something a bit different from something with Rick's name on it.
