Paperwork for my business was building up so I decided to Google for an accountant near where I live in Leith. We have used Steedman & co as our accountants through various different businesses since 1988 and through all the ups and downs in business between then & now we have allways found their service to be excellent, Small enough to have 1 to 1 contact when required but the right expertise & back up as required, Although I would particularly praise Ricky Steedman & Debbie Cowley as they have always been my points of contact and they  have the staff to back it up when required & always at reasonable costs, After nearly 30 Years of being our accountants I would have no hesitation in recommending them no matter what type of business you are in.

As a new start-up in the creative industries I needed some initial help and guidance with setting myself up in business. I'm very happy with everything to do with how my tax return has been handled (both my personal return and business return). I would describe Steedman & Company  as Professional, Thorough, Concise & Friendly. I haven't really worked with other accountants before (especially not business accountants) but I like the way Steedman & company  feels rather like a small family-like business itself, which makes me feel that there is a team of people there who know who I am, know what my business is, and genuinely want to help, rather than seeing me just as a client ID number.
