Stopped by for some delicious snacks and noodles. Food isn't spicy but flavours are nice. Had some Jasmine tea too. Around £15 per person, a bargain. The service was great and I'd recommend.Food: 5/5

Lovely affordable restaurant in Hammersmith. Amazing wonton soup with super plump wontons and proper soup stock. Great dumplings steamed just right, not over steamed. Super dumpling wrappers nice and thin. Fabulous service from Latif. A lovely meal to help a friend celebrate their birthday.
Had a lovely lunch at this little place on King's Street. The atmosphere was casual and unassuming no music, although we came on the tail end of lunch, service was kind and friendly. The dim sum was REALLY good - it tasted fresh and unique, with fun flavours that complemented each other. There is an offer going on until the 23rd of April, so our bill was extremely reasonable - £46 for 3 dim sum platters 7 pieces, one order of spinach dumplings, one order of mushroom buns, one pot of blueberry tea, and service charge I can't remember if it was 10 or 12%. But even without the offer, the prices are really reasonable for the quality of the food. There was a super spicy hot sauce that I really loved - I love spicy but a word of caution in case you don't, because that is some hot stuff! It's not fancy, but I found the food really good. Thank you for the friendly service, we'll be back.
We went there for a quick meal but ended up ordering a lot of food. Everything was delicious , Malaysian prawn curry was very authentic not in the picture and the dim sums were full of generous fillings. One of the nicer dim sum experiences for sure. Gentleman that served us was very friendly. Would definitely go back again if we ever return to Hammersmith
On vacation in Europe with my boyfriend and London was our first stop. We were searching for a restaurant where I could get some vegetarian meal and we found STEAM. It’s kind of hard to find because of its location. Anyway, my boyfriend got the fried prawn rice and I got the vegetarian fried noodles. My noodles were one of the best tasting noodles I ever had. The veggies were crunchy and fresh, not over cooked and so were the noodles. Our meals were so good that we ate there two other nights. I really enjoyed my meal and so was my boyfriend. I would definitely recommend STEAM if you in Hammersmith on King Street. The owner was very pleasant and courteous too.

The food was very tasty very affordable and huge portions for favourites like fried noodles and rice. The chilli oil for the wonton soup is actually spicy unlike many I've had in Chinese restaurants around London. I had seen it many times but never visited and now I'm surprised it is not busier than it is. A hidden gem!
Food was ok but the price is much higher than what it says on the Steam website and to be honest quite deceiving. We had chosen to go to this one as the dim sum seemed reasonably priced and slightly cheaper than another one nearby, only to arrive there and find that each dish was much more expensive than stated on the website. When I asked why that was, I received a very defensive reply along the lines of ‘we do not have anything to do with the online part of the website even though their address is clearly stated on the front page of the website you could have just checked the price on our window.’ If the guy there would have been a bit friendlier and said that indeed it is a bit unfort that there are 2 different prices, then I wouldn’t have written this review, but he was completely unapologetic and rude about my enquiry. Definitely won’t be going there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
