Absolutely amazing food! Such a nice chill vibe and really nice pleasant staff. Best meal we’ve had out in a long, long time and everything is so reasonably priced too. Our new fav restaurant! Blown away. Props to the chef what a queen.
I can keep this review short... The best 3 course meal I have eaten and I eat out a lot in the UK for as long as I can remember!!! The decor, ambience and service was first class too.Food: 5/5
We love Steam. First visit since they opened up again after covid. They are not licensed, so you take your own alcohol and are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Booking is a must.They do alot of vegetarian options and are very good at catering for all intolerances. Two courses for £28.95, three for £32.95 and they charged us £2.50 per person for corkage. Excellent value for money. Food and service is second to none.
Amazing food!!! Chris was welcoming and attentive giving recommendations off the menu but I suspect it was all amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed all our choices-the beef was so succulent. Don’t miss out and make sure you book.Recommended dishesSlow Braised Blade of Beef
Absolutely amazing dinner! Everything was delicious and we wanted to eat everything off of the menu! The team where short staffed on the night we went and still made the experience amazing and catered to everything we needed
What a fabulous place! Visited the restaurant in mid March 2023 with two friends, who had been to Steam Bistro previously & were very keen to take us there. The food is out of this world - just amazing. We each had three courses & there was plenty of food. No only were the flavours incredible, but the presentation was gorgeous. The service was faultless with the owner being so friendly. The prices are incredibly reasonable. If you want go, you won't regret it - but book well in advance as it's super popular. To give some context, a couple of weeks after our visit we dined at Gordon Ramsey's Riverside Restaurant in the Savoy - the food in the Steam Bistro in every way blew the Riverside Restaurant into the weeds.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! The food, service, and ambience were absolutely amazing. Every plate we had were elevated versions of comfort food. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, do not miss it!!
Chose this place based on reviews and I am so pleased. This is probably one of the best meals ever. Unique setting, friendly staff, and the food is exquisite. Local ingredients, cooked to perfection, and the flavours are balanced with such care. A fantastic night and will most certainly return.
We had a fabulous evening at Steam. The ambience is relaxed, service excellent and food superb. We can't wait to go back!
