What a joke of a cab firm. I booked a cab after telling me it would be 10 minutes. I paid online straight away. I chased it 20 minutes later to be told they had no local driver and it would be coming from N4 postcode which would be 45 minutes. They then told me it would take 2 days to give me my money back. I then called AAA From potters bar who were there in 11 minutes and charged me £8 less! Station cars… you are a disgrace
Totality incompetent used to live next door to the owner Barry sorry mate but on reading other reviews here I think you need to be more proactive Here’s 3 examples of my experience I booked an 8 seater to pick me and my team from an event in Greenwich on 4 July at 11am. They didn’t show leaving us stranded. I called up and the switchboard had booked the car for 11 July On 11 July I got a call asking if I wanted the car. I’m still waiting for my refund 2 years ago I booked an airport run for 4 August at 12pm They didn’t show having booked the car for 12 August The funniest was on a trip to Stansted the driver has a puncture. He tells us his daughter lives nearby so calls her. 20 mins later she turns up and takes us to the airport but asks me to pay the car park fee which I had already paid to Station Cars
Would give 0 stars. Stay clear‼ Verbally abused by driver, got aggressive when I ask him to clarify the fare as was given two different prices. Screamed in my face even when on phone to the office reporting him. They could hear him and didn’t even apologise or offer a different driver. I feared for my life.
Had to give 1 star, used to use these guys all the time. But whom ever was responsible for the phone call I just had needs sacking, 4 times I explained I wanted to go to Chalk Farm tube station and every time he said ‘high barnet tube station’ - I even spelled it phonetically for him, lost patience in the end and terminated the call.
Avoid.I was going 4 o’clock in the morning to Gatwick airport with my wife and kids and got given a quote after the driver came he said I have to pay £15 extra because the suitcases are too big, even I never had a problem before. Being that early and thinking I’m going to loose the flight I had no choice . I had twice bad experience with them and same driver but the second time was my mistake going with them and not another cab service.
Awful. We booked a return journey .. £46 outbound and £62 with a drop off return .. they said I had to pay up front for return by card. Which then charged my card £72 ..office wouldnt have it indian speakers.. obs a call centre . lucky we know the owner as the staff could not help and insisted this is the price and sent confirmed text messages with price quoted. said they would refund the difference. However when we were coming come asked for the drop off for a single lady to be done first another £20. .which we had to pay. . I would not recommend this company. Unfortunately there aren’t any others in potters bar other than Manor Cars which you need to pre book more expensive but not in the long run .
Absolutely terrible company. When I phoned I explained I had a cat in a carrier. When the driver arrived he wanted to put the cat in the boot! Called again and was told it would be ten minutes and they would take us. Thirty minutes and no car. Shouldn't be in business.
Just close down. The customer service of this taxi service is atrocious and very unreliable. I booked a taxi online on a monday, did not receive any confirmation. I called the next day to confirm the booking, they proceed to ask for further details which I answered. The next day they messaged my mum for the same details that I answered the day before. Thursday the taxi did not arrive at 5:30am, my mother had to wake me up and I called asking where is the driver. They did not notify my mum at all. They tell me they DO NOT HAVE THE BOOKING. I was furious. Then said they will call me back in 5 mins and look into it. They took way too long so I booked an uber to take her. They did call me back but I told them forget it. Waste of time! Will never use these ppl again!
Really unhappy - I called this morning at 7.30 to see if a large cab was available. They took my details after 5 minutes of waiting due to internet issues, and said they would check with a driver and call me back. 30 minutes later and I still haven’t heard back from them - luckily I was able to order an Uber that came much quicker with no trouble. We are doing a corporate event and this delay really wasn’t helpful.
I called at 8:10am and ordered a taxi for 8:40am. The gentleman asked me if I would like to pay by cash or card, I said I would pay cash as mini cabs can be unreliable at the best of times and did not want to wait for a refund. I received a call at 08:32am to let me know that my driver would not arrive for at least another 20 minutes. At 08:52 I called the office back and spoke to someone who only referred to themselves as "superior", and that I would need to make payment via card otherwise they would not send a driver. Unfortunately, this does not help someone who may be of a certain age and not tech savvy. There was no apology just "pay by card or we can't get a cab". A W F U L - Avoid, avoid, avoid.
