My friends and I discovered this hidden gem whilst on a day trip to southport. We were looking for somewhere to have lunch and happened upon SKIES The food was AMAZING and beautifully presented also the tea and coffee was excellent. The chef Jason came out to ask if everything was OK as did the restaurant owner. The waiting staff were polite and friendly. A very pleasant atmosphere and definitely worth a visit if you are in southport
What a fantastic place. I was only expecting this to be basic pub food but it was really good quality stuff, big portions too. Don't walk past its unassuming little entrance, go in and try it, you won't be disappointed
Loved it, what a beautiful little hidden gem. Amazing rear garden area which catches the sun. Great variety of drinks too
Curry and pint night. It was a lovely meal and nicely presented. Great place and atmosphere. We will definitely go back again next time we're in Southport.
Immensely welcoming staff, who were very receptive to our accompanying children. Very dog friendly to boot. Good prices and a find for us. To improve: you need to sell a few IPA’s, even if they’re in bottles. We’ll pop back whilst in town!
Doesn't live up to the sign 'Amazing Coffee'. Somehow managed to serve a cold cappuccino? I'm not even sure how that's possible. Staff weren't bothered about it, nor seemed surprised ? that it came out cold. Usually I prefer to support local business, but next time I'll go to the Costa next door.
This was the first time in any of the bars in Southport, and being a disabled person, I didn't think The Skies lounge would be able to welcome disabled guests, but I was soon proved wrong, as they had a ramp for me to get up the stairs to where the bar is. The staff are really welcoming and friendly.
We stopped by for a coffee and cake the coffee was really good and came in a cup with saucer with an extra bit on making it harder to spill. Staff were lovely and friendly unfortunately I thought husband had paid he thought I did and we walked away. Mortified we phoned as soon as we realised and headed back. We paid and they we so nice about it and grateful we had returned. We stayed and had the Cajon chicken which was excellent, well presented and tasty and we paid before leaving. I would recommend this lounge you get great service, nice food great company.

Nice bar. Friendly staff. Excellent food. We had Cajun chicken burger with spiced fries and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Both were lovely and all served in pleasant rear beer garden area.
