Absolutely disgusting. I had an engagement party and booked Mike with complete confidence as he seemed very genuine. I booked a couple of months before the event and called regularly to confirm everything was still in place for the day. A week before the event a new person rang me and said he works for the company and will now DJ and so I discussed songs etc with him and called the day before the party to confirm. On the day I get a call from a DIFFERENT DJ saying he also works for the company and was going to be DJing my party and will be arriving to the party at 6:30 to set up before the party started at 8. 7:30 comes around and I could not get in contact with the new DJ or Mike the owner. 8o'clock most people are arriving to a bright hall with no music. I then spent over an hour trying to contact the "new DJ" and finally got through to the second DJ who was saying sorry for him not arriving and when I said it is not good enough I have 100 people in a hall with no music he replied "shame". I was crying my eyes out and so embarrassed that this has happened especially after spending so much money trying to make this night perfect for my fiance and I. My fiance then has to leave the party with his dad for an hour and half to go home and get speakers. Eventually a DJ turns up past 9 and the karaoke promised does not work, my party guests had to help the guy set up, the lighting is terrible and the music we kept requesting was not getting played. The owners of the hall complained because the DJ kept turning up the volume after being told several times to turn it down. The DJ that turned up seemed very vulnerable and unable to cope with the high stress situation and we felt guilty that the company had put him under all of this pressure and this is the only reason we paid him 3/4 of the money promised which was the right amount for the time he was there. Anyone else would have either not paid him at all or severely underpaid him. I do not blame the DJ completely I mostly blame the company for doing this. I have since contacted the owner Mike several times and have had multiple excuses as to why he cannot talk such as "I do not know who you are" (this was two days after the party and we had spoke previously several times in the last couple of months). Another excuse was "I have just got out of the shower and I need to go out in 5 minutes call back tomorrow". So I call back and he tells me that its not him and hes a different person. I am absolutely horrified at the service I received and am gutted that we wasted any money on the company at all. It completely ruined my engagement party and I barely got to enjoy a minute of it from running around sorting this business and apologising to everyone who came for this terrible situtstion. I hate to even think about the night because I was so embarrassed and upset. Upto you if you want to chance it.
