Advertised as services, I have found this a useful second stop before the third leg of a long journey. Especially, as I need a coffee fill up and Starbucks sell my favourite Columbian. However in an effort to feed back and get things improved: 1 Customers need to be aware of opening times because I have been caught out by 7pm closing. 2 The toilet facilities are seriously lacking. I have experienced them down to the disabled toilet because of water flooding through the corridors. Not healthy to, then, walk into an area to order food. Plus, check if there is toilet roll because I have needed to poach from another cubicle. On the last occasion, I didn't bother asking because I now carry it on the car. Still, not hygienic regards transferring germs. 3 This most recent visit, one younger of staff couldn't serve anything for "ten minutes". The impression was that she was waiting on someone and, because I couldn't guarantee how stretched ten minutes would become, I didn't by the much needed drink and food for a fellow passenger. Most disappointed because I was running out of options further up the road. 4 Regards coffee, a previous time, I was interested in "Pike's Place" but would have appreciated being able to buy it to taste. The member of staff seemed clueless but there was only whole beans and not ground to try anyway. So, very limited on stock.
Shocking experience…. Waited in front of the till whilst the staff finished their own personal conversation. Female member of staff made coffee, knowingly spilt coffee all down the takeaway coffee, went “oops” and handed me the coffee. Asked for napkins to wipe the cup clean, and was directed to the other end of the shop to collect my own napkin to wipe the cup so I could carry it without getting coffee all over my hands. Store was not busy, very little choice of sandwiches, empty fridges! Will not be returning!
Dirty, 3 staff 1 working hard 1 doing what she had to and a manager doing nothing. Its a lovely large building plenty of seating just a shame no tables clean rubbish everywhere, looked like no tables had been cleaned all day as it was quite when we were there but staff made no attempt to clean a table.
Had to wait half hourcto be served. 2 people on duty but one kept disappearing. Plenty of space. Toilets one out of order one blocked and no toilet paper in any. It's in a prime position in Burford but oh dear. Will not call againFood: 1/5
Visted 10.00am 4.1.23 Nice looking building but that's all the good stuff. Two young lads no uniform name badges more interested in drinking free drinks. No supervisor onsite Tills not working so cash sales only Took one lad 3 minutes and 3 attempts to add cost of Two drink prices together. Couldn't give a receipt hand written one looked like a 3 year old wrote it on first day at school day Was asked 3 times did I want milk in my black coffee For 10am tables/floor grubby as was sugar/napkin area Male toilets broken Disabled dirty, no loo roll and dryer broken. Will use the garden center next time for a coffee. Starbucks HQ need to sort this site out as it is damaging the brand.
Barely any food in stock. Had to clear our own table of used cups. No filter coffee. No toilet roll due to stock issues, i'm sure it is possible to buy some in nearby shops. Mens toilet not working due to 'drain problem'. Disabled floor flooded. Soft chairs stained and not nice to sit on. About 20 quid for a few drinks and some crisps and cakes, very poor value. Shame, as it is in a nice building.
Staff shortages and dozens of rowdy, inconsiderate teenagers made our coffee stop disappointing. There were only 3 sandwiches available at 11.45am. The toilets were dirty. Won't stop here again.Food: 1/5
Lovely building in a lovely part of the country. Unfortunately though, in stark contrast, it wins the award for Britain’s dirtiest Starbucks. It’s routinely filthy, with food all over the floor, untidiness almost everywhere, and crumbs and dirt on almost every seat. It’s a large branch, but it’s a challenge to find a clean table. At first I thought it was a one-off, then a second visit I thought perhaps because it was a bank holiday, but by the third visit I’d given up trying to find excuses and realised it’s always like that. I spoke to a supervisor about it who apologised, and told me her staff members didn’t enjoy cleaning and liked to remain behind the counter. She then spent a good 15 minutes clearing the place up herself without any help from her team members who watched from behind the counter. My advice to her would be to replace said team members or learn to manage them more effectively!
Strangely large building which was totally empty on an August Saturday afternoon. The ladies toilet is like an Escape Room! Coffee ok but absolutely no healthy snacks nor anything gluten-free except a bar of chocolate. Menu needs an overhaul. The place is dirty - staff had no customers to serve so could easily have wiped tables and swept the floor, but no!
This Starbucks is a great place to work or study. Big airy seating area with lots of outlets, people are always friendly and they have the full selection of drinks and food options. Love it
