Booked a taxi 40 mins in advance for getting to the train station. Gets to the time slot no taxi. Ring them and operator say hes stuck in traffic bookings have gone mental. That's not my fault.and I wasnt contacted to say drivers are stuck if you need to get to the station might be best finding another way. Simple customer service.
Awful I rang at 20 past but apparently none picked it up even though the man said soon I ring at 40 past and the woman then says 5 minutes and still none here and it’s 4 awful
Used Star Taxis several times on a recent trip to the area. The cars always turned up promptly, were clean and well-driven. The drivers were friendly, helpful and knew where they had to go. Great service.
Nice and quick to answer the phone. Instant quotes and a really decent fixed prices. They send you your booking confirmation via text instantly which is really helpful. 10/10
won't be using them again after last 3 calls. The latest call left us stranded at airport after me booking taxi personally in office got home from holiday no taxi resulting in a long wait. The trip to the airport also resulted in a wait due to flat tyres. Always thought they were reliable before that.
So as we were waiting for elderly people to get in the taxi the taxi fare was already ticking 5 pound before we even set off. Not impressed. If I could give no stars, I would. Absolutely disgusting.
I have used them for the last ten years yes there vehicles may have been a little tired but their service has been good and they have competitively priced i have tonight been informed they are part of the GMX network and their fares have increased 50% still run down cars and no longer value for money
