Didn't help me one bit it's a utterly useless place a total waste of time just go anywhere except for here. They used to be really good but not anymore so I'm never going back here ever again. Meant to help but didn't help me one single bit. I wish I could give zero stars as 1 star is far too much. Useless doctors that I will never ever trust again.nThey don't care about you one single bit so avoid this place at all costs.
The opening hours are NOT correct according to the receptionist you need to ring at 8am. Not 8.30am. I rang at 8.30 am and was 50th in the queue, someone eventually called me back 2.5 hours later after I rang again and made a second ring back request! I would NOT trust the ring back service, it’s much slower. I was told that they are only seeing emergencies and my 5 year old cannot be seen today. I understand the service is busy, but rude staff who blame you for not phoning up early enough when the opening times advertised online are WRONG - is just plain bad service! Sort it out Penarth Healthcare Partnership. There must be a better way. Surely.
Excellent drs surgery for children. My son is nearly two and we’ve always had excellent care at PHP. Recently he had an ear infection and the doctor examined his Paddington bear before examining him so that he wasn’t scared and it made a trip to the gp much less daunting. The staff always go above and beyond and I’m really pleased with the care we’ve had.
Made to wait 4 days for a prescription for my 12 week old non dairy milk. Called up to chase it up to be told they don't send prescriptions to pharmacies. Spoke to pharmacy who told me they had received 3 prescriptions today alone for other patients and was advised that whoever I spoke to at the surgery had no clue what they were talking about. Pharmacy now dealing with this matter because the surgery is absolutely useless.
My husband and grandson both needed appointments today and although they were a little late in ringing the practice both were seen promptly. Very good experience as always.
