The doctors and nurses are always so helpful and honestly do their job to the best of their ability. However the majority of reception staff are dreadful. Every time I try to make an appointment I'm told to make them as emergency appointments. Then when I do I'm made to disclose a ridiculous amount of personal medical information that is confidential. Also, during my application for the Army, I needed some forms signed and the receptionists put them in a pile of nonsense and lost them. However when they finally got to the doctors they were completed in a few hours. It's a shame the reception staff are a let down.

Very rude receptionist, shame as the doctors are good but sadly you have to go through receptionists who are never helpful they couldn't care less, just try to get rid of you as soon as possible. I never encountered something like this before.Thank god I don't have to deal with them anymore. Now moved to Albert road surgery, where everyone is so nice and helpful.

Twice I've been on hold for over 25mins after calling first thing only to be told no appointments call again tomorrow!

I've read the other reviews but totally disagree.  Obviously they did experience something I never have.  I have been registered with this surgery for a total of two years and have found everyone, without exception, to be kind, sympathetic and amazingly helpful. The Reception staff have always been great. I required regular almost daily treatment this year and the nurses were brilliant. Their sense of humour is wonderful. I depend on continual medical support and am very grateful for their professionalism.
