Great place to go. You can get right to the stones and walk among the circle. Check out the English Heritage website for great information on the circle and cove.

Visited today and was surprised that there was a £1 per person entry fee I  should have researched it first. Or, be like everyone else that visited after me and not bothered paying at all! Had a quick walk around two of the circles then headed back before the rain set in. Hoping for better weather next time.

Car parking for a couple of cars only. The stones are positioned in the fields of a working farm. At the end of a short lane there is a style leading into the fields where the stones are. The stones are fabulous. But, the reason for dropping a star is: The field was filled with a mixed herd of cattle, including a bull. So, I felt, I couldn't go in the field to see the stones. I was very disappointed .

Simple, ancient stones. Stones have been here 4500 years. Cows probably too. Follow the signs in the village, small English Heritage provided parking lot. Local farmer he an honesty box asking 1 quid per person no change or any such modern things, just a lock box to drop your coins in.

Friend and I went to the stones. So many faces in the stones. There is a big circle and then a small powerful circle. It looked to me that the other stones was like a passageway from big to small circle but many of the stones could be in the earth. Spent a good hr. It's worth visiting the local pub druid pub, so friendly, great service, great food.

Beauitful bit of bristold history in the middle of a cow field. Cows really friendly, stones are beauitful, the legend of the stones is cute too. One of my favorite places to visitVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
