Visited here recently and the staff were really friendly. Staff took us to be seated immediately and we didnt have to wait around. The restaurant is lovely and clean. We tried the pizza and it was delicious. All ingredients were freshly prepared no pre packed pizzas. Really good atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. This is definately a place to visit if you are in Bundoran.
The service was really slow and we kept having to leave our table to get their attention. The food was just ok,not the best.l wouldn't be going back.presentation of the desserts was good,taste was ok.Our drinks were warm and l didnt want ice because l thought it would have been refrigerated. Our table was tiny and squeezed and the place was really warm.So all in all a bad experience. The 2 stars are for the desserts.
It was our second visit last night and to be honest we were Disappointed. The restaurant was very quiet but we still waited to both order and receive drinks while the staff members chatted. The waitress we had was very cold, she got everything to us correctly but could do with more customer service training, she was very abrupt and just seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. I will however say the other staff members seemed lovely. The food was fine, nothing special but nothing particularly bad either. We don't feel it was worth what we payed. The first time we visited we had pizzas which were excellent, in particular the four cheese. My eldest had the veggie pizza again last night and really enjoyed it. The first time we visited the customer service was also lacking but it was summer and extremely busy so we gave them the benefit of the doubt but it does seem it's a running theme here. The unfriendly waitress put a bit of a dampner on our Halloween evening. We won't be back again to dine in.
Cannot say enough good things about the food here. Always fantastic, reasonably priced and exactly what you ask for. Nice place to eat with good staff who serve well. Huge portions.
Absolutely great experience. Staff were lovely and the food was really nice. Really reasonably priced. Next time I visit I will be heading straight to Stakes Restaurant can't wait. Kid-friendliness: I didn't have kids but there were plenty in the restaurant and the staff were so nice to them.
Went there last night with a group of six without a reservation, the girls working there were very facilitative even though it was quite busy. Got a pizza which was surprisingly good seeing how it's a steak house, very impressed with the service and the food. Would definitely recommend eating here.
Stakes was not great to be honest. The food was the big problem. Everything was cold and just so bland. Its grand for a quick bite, fast food. But I would never go again for Sunday lunch.Service: 4/5
Lovely restaurant I desired to eat for more than 2 years and today was my chance being there for my birthday with my bestie We had a wonderful meal starting with a lovely salad with smoked salmon and prawns and for mains we had Grilled mix stark and a very special and at perfect temperature Rib Eye steak And the best of all was being able to have a real expresso who is not something easy to find in Ireland Very high recommended steakeHouse
2 of us had dinner ere tonight and we could not fault it. Lovely waitress, great food at the right price and nice restaurant. Portions were big enough, especially the calzone which was huge. I would recommend visiting.
Brilliant dinner! Lovely staff! Especially the young girl that ran after us with €5 that fell out of my pocket. Honesty is one of the best traits in a person. You are lucky to have such great staff! Thanks again
