Horrendous service! Especially the services that know the routes are used by school children they charge adult prices when they know fine well giving them a child ticket would be cheaper they let them buy weekly tickets knowing the route they take isn't included on route for that particular ticket then once purchased won't let the kids on the bus so therefore leave them on their own! Absolute disgraceful service! Wants gotten shot of and a completely new company taken on to do the job properly an get rid of the dinosaurs which are normally the ones that kick the kids off!

Good place for travel, maybe is a chance for waiting room when is cold. Maybe station to fill water? Please think? Drivers are friendly, good connection to Whitehaven, Carlisle, Penrith, Keswick. Only 850 yards from Workington Train Station. Some buses line 300 and 30 - they have stop near Workington Train Station on both directions to Workington City and Carlisle, if You want close to Bus Station is Wetherspoon and go jump for tea and coffe break

Travelled with them for a week. One bus broke down in pooley bridge, thankfully got restarted. 599 route had bus cancellations over 3 days and on 77 bus it broke down at honister pass, coolant ran out. Then 2hrs later it failed at whinlatter and all of us had to walk 3mls. Felt for all the bus men to have apologies for lack of poorly run services

I actually loved how nice and helpful the stagecoach bus drivers were. Although sometimes the buses are later than expected. You can buy something to snack on, as there is a big convenience store beside the bus station.
