Absolutely fantastic service and food… what food!!! You definitely will 100% NOT regret having a meal in this amazing wee gem of a restaurant. All food made fresh from scratch with local ingredients by an amazing chef who takes pride in the look and taste of his dishes. Comes out to speak to customers too. Had the peppercorn fillet steak with a range of various vegetables which you could tell were freshly cooked and probably right out of the ground today! Husband had the venison and was equally surprised and delighted with his meal. Topped off with an amazing sticky toffee pudding to die for - love it

Had the Tuesday night high tea. Very much enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Food was really good, Portions were huge. Would definitely recommend.
Food was ok, atmosphere is nice and the staff is very friendly.... However one major issue I had was that the cutlery and plates were completely filthy! Totally unclean... Clearly they need better dishwashers because I felt disgusting just touching this cutlery, never mind eating with them. SORT IT OUT!
Didn’t stay in the hotel but had dinner in the restaurant and have to say some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. First class . Staff were fantastic also .
