Absolutely stunning venue. The minute you walk in you feel at home.nRooms are finished to a very highnstandard. Super clean the house keeping are on top of their game.nFood is superior to any restaurant in the area, Serving staff couldn't do enough to make the evening fabulous. Definitely one of the best experiences you will find with out going into the city .
Bit disappointing. Lovely interior and decor. Went for coffee and cake but was surprised there was no dairy alternatives for allergies, we didn't eat so I can't comment on the food or the rooms. Staff were not very helpful.
Last weekend, we had a meal at the stag and thistle, we were served lovely homecooked meals which were absolutely delicious. Our server Caitlin was just spectacular, she greeted us with a charismatic smile, she accommodated all our needs and was always happy to help us. The restaurant was stunning and the vibes were immaculate, will definitely be back.
Absolutely fantastic service and food… what food!!! You definitely will 100% NOT regret having a meal in this amazing wee gem of a restaurant. All food made fresh from scratch with local ingredients by an amazing chef who takes pride in the look and taste of his dishes. Comes out to speak to customers too. Had the peppercorn fillet steak with a range of various vegetables which you could tell were freshly cooked and probably right out of the ground today! Husband had the venison and was equally surprised and delighted with his meal. Topped off with an amazing sticky toffee pudding to die for - love it
Had the Tuesday night high tea. Very much enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Food was really good, Portions were huge. Would definitely recommend.
