Stafford fire station came to mine Saturday evening the whole team were amazing and worked really well with each other, it was clear that the training they do and experience they have ensures they well prepared for the different situations that they come across,. They were preparing for possible outcomes prior to taking actions and making steps to extinguish the fire which meant they were aways on the front foot and in control rather than having reactively fight the fire. They came with different items to keep mess, disruption and damage to an absolute minimum and when they left it was like they were never there, no water damage and no damage to floor or walls all of which I would have accepted as absolutely unavoidable in that situation
mazing help from Pete Hall came and fitted us a fireproof letterbox and some new smoke alarms, heat alarm etc. Some great advice given too!
Not had to call the fire brigade out before, and I need to say I am humbled & very impressed with them all. We thought we had a chimney fire and they could not have been more understanding...I want to massively thank the team.
