Not really a campsite. More a caravan park with a patch of grass smaller than a football penalty area, overlooked by caravans, and next to the road/car park. Facilities good. Would be 4-5 star with a larger & quieter camping area
This is a wonderful little campsite, fantastic location and great pitches for campervans. And if you're in need of a sauna while you're camping this is the spot! After 3 cold days camping in the Lakes we found Stackstead and booked in to the pool, which has a jacuzzi and sauna. It was amazing! Beautiful facility and very fair price.nnThe owners are so helpful and very welcoming. They even posted my daughter's teddy back home, which she'd left in the toilet block as we were leaving - they were so kind and got it in the post the next day! Thank you so much xxx
Me and my brother were camping at Stackstead farm this weekend for the first time, it's a lovely well kept site. It's within walking distance of Ingleton and nice and peaceful. The team are very friendly and keep a very well run clean site. I would recommend a visit and I will be returning here.
Stayed in the Shepherds Hut this weekend and it was the perfect getaway.nnI found the huts online as was looking for a country weekend away and also, a spa kind of retreat. When I found this it was perfect as we had access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna nnThe shepherds hut was beautiful and I’ve stayed in a few now, this was the best.nnThe views of the farm and the baby lambs made for some incredible scenery and the site was quiet and the people we did speak to, incredibly friendly.nnVery helpful staff as well.nnWould highly recommend a weekend away here and would definitely return.
Lovely small picturesque site walking distance into Ingleton with its own small leisure centre/swimming pool. Had a great time. Thank you.
