St Peters is the historic church of Robert Murray McCheyne. It is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland
St Peters is a growing and changing congregation. In the early 1990's it was almost extinct with a handful of people gathering. Today over 350 people worship in the building during two services and there are a wide range of activities and outreach events. The building was refurbished in 2009 and is now one of the premier venues in Dundee being used for arts, music, worship, youth groups, lectures, conferences etc. The congregation has a church plant in St Andrews and is planning further church plants and outreach. The important thing is not the building but the people. We are a wide and varied group whose unity is based upon Jesus Christ.
Sunday services are at 11am-12:30pm (coffee after) & 6pm-7:30pm.
Our mission is to worship Jesus Christ, communicate his Gospel to the people of Dundee and beyond, and build up and disciple his people. Put simply we want to be salt and light in this city.
