We canoed amongst the astounding cliffs and caves below St Non's Chapel after setting off from Porthclais harbour a short distance away. There are plenty of inlets to explore on the way, but the main attraction is the multi-entrance cathedral cave just beyond and below the chapel up on the clifftops best time is high tide.nnHaving accidentally passed the first entrances, we tracked back and found the narrow passageway. Once inside, the cave is spectacular with crystal clear water and views up through the cliffs above. As you pass through, other areas open up with more exits out to sea. We had to canoe through here and the other entrances a few times before we were happy to move along the coast, only to return again later for a picnic inside the cavern.nnDefinitely recommend a trip here at high tide if the weather permits.
Lovely area for a hike. Great legend surrounding St Non and the birth of St David. Accessible from Porthclais along the coastal path about 30min walk.
A beautiful hiking trail. Easy to walk.
Beautiful scenery, picturesque, photos were taken on the same day and within about a half hour time frame and shows just how quickly the weather can change. Nice circular coastal walk from St Davids and back into St Davids.
Awesome place for a walk. Better take your wellies as the path is really muddy
