Originally a medieval church, dedicated to St Mary, stood on this site but all that remains of this is the 13th bell tower, font and stoup.nRededicated to St Nicholas in 1881, the church has stayed in its current configuration. It has retained elements from its several reconstructions and even bullet marks from Civil War skirmishes if you know where to look.nThere are regular services on Sundays, and plenty of park nearby. The church itself is very easy to find and easily accessible.

A warm and very welcoming church.  Drop down screen for song words, so no annoying books to have to flick through, uplifting hymns, a warm building and comfortable pew cushions. The lady vicar is lovely.nAfter the service excellent coffee and homemade cakes! Couldn’t ask for more.

St Nicholas Church in Church Stoke is easy to find simply follow the road signs, its just off the A489 main road passing through the town.  The Church is very impressive with a large well maintained graveyard.  There is plenty of parking available.

A warm and friendly welcome to their morning service.
