Beautiful place. I found the outside nicer than the inside. The inside is obvioslh quite modern compared to the agr of the building. The choir is very nice and it's the part that remains from the original settings i think. This Chruch rings the bells every Saturday mornjng in aa beautiful way.

My wife amd I were married in this Church nine years ago, we lived a couple of doors down on School Lane so my mate Richard in his 1949 Riley car drove my wife to be the full 200 yards from our house to the church. It is a beautiful, victorian-restored parish church. You have the choice of which version of sermon you want, which words are more beautiful to you. I always find the King James Bible the most beautiful but if you want the New International Version they will do that, the same vicars conduct three services on a Sunday for people who are a bit particular but it is the same God. It must have some magic because my wife and I are still married nine years later, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, in sickness and in health, foresaking all others, as long as we both shall live. I said it and I meant it. I hope you do too. We started a tradition of putting flowers in the heating grates down the aisles of the pews, and the curate asked me is that OK because it might become a tradition? I don't know if they stll do. Then all off to the pub/restaurant by the River Great Ouse, 200 yards in the other direction from my house on the same street, for the reception. Arranging the guests was hard, but arranging the venue was not! St Mary's has a peal of eight bells and the bell ringers will celebrate your marriage by ringing out on the bells, they ring out every sunday. Music is very much part of the joy of God at Eaton Socon parish church and it is not matter if you can play the comb and paper or whatever, it is part of the worship, the joy of God who gave us this life. I am not particularly Christian but I can still say, thank you for letting me appreciate this beautiful life. The interior is very plain, whitewashed walls, 19th century pews, stained glass windows. The churchyard is kept immaculately, I know, because I used to keep it.
Haven't been inside but looks very impressive from the outside. Looks very well kept with cut grass and no litter and a lot of benches to sit on :

Nice big meeting room. And well located in the centre of town, with free parking out the front of the church.
Lovely looking church but sadly it wasn't open on the day of my visit to St. Neots.
