Peaceful place of worship. Frequently open. Inclusive. Breast feeding welcome sign. The walls are full of History. Spent time in contemplation and interrogation. I loved it.
Very short but spirit filled service. Recommended for workers who still want to worship.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
St Michael's is an historic site of worship with a contemporary witness and ministry of helping those in physical or spiritual need. The confusion is growing quite fast but at the moment you can still get a seat in most services. The church is also open most days of the week for a few hours and midday and various groups use Church cottage and Glebe Hall including the community cafe, the food bank and the Camrose centre for homeless and vulnerable housed.
Very uplifting early and latter service, a joy to see folks receiving prayer very moving, felt the spirit there all welcome. A joy.Visited onWeekend
I heard the Lord speak an audible sentence to me while in St Michael's. Amazing experience! Blew me away. Changed my life. He's picked me up, brushed me down, turned me round and given me new focus... Awesome God! Awesome church and such lovely people who run the church. Always willing to help, pray and chat if needed. It's a lovely place to just sit quietly in God's presence too. His peace which is felt here is healing and goes with you when you leave. St Michael's is very welcoming to all.
There's a huge Yew tree in the cemetery, snowdrops by the hundreds round the stones. A palpable feel of peace and age. The windows and interior are lovely and the whole place breathes serenity.
