Story

St Mary's Grammar School was founded in 1927 to provide Secondary education for Catholic girls under the direction of The Sisters of the Holy Family. Boys joined in 1978. St Mary's Grammar School has never been outside the top five schools since The Irish News began publishing lists in 2006.
