Lent Lunches: superb

This is a quiet church despite being near the main road. There are a dozen stained glass windows which are well worth taking the time to see if you are passing this way.

Gorgeous church

This church is an emotional haven to me and many others. It's glorious.

Went for remembrance service. Church was full. Lovely service

St. Mary's Church, Chard, is without doubt the most beautiful building in Chard. The stain glass windows are stunning and are a must see.  The acoustics in the church are really good which enhances your experience at concerts held in the church.  The congregation are welcoming and helpful and carry out a number of projects to help the local community. For example there is a toddlers group, the Lord's Larder collections food bank for those in need and a free community breakfast the third Saturday of every month from 9am - 11am. Donations for the breakfast are invited from those who are able.

Welcoming band of bell ringers! Good set of bells.
