Visited this place for a gig. Parts of the building quite run down & untidy from the outside.nOnce in, a nice venue for bands with an audience of around 200-300 although the bands 'green room' was pretty poor.nBalcony area for those who want to pay extra for a private booth & an upstairs view.
Dirty dancing experiencenThere was an itinerary sent which did not happen as it was supposed ton1 doors did not open on timenThey were so slow letting people inn2 the red wine was served cold and it tasted old top wack pricesn3 the food was late a d they were trying to serve whilst the act was on and people were trying to dance not enough staff the food should have been served before the act but according to the itinerarynAct was not greatnThey started serving drinks late one girl with one bottle of fizz then guy was helping he was greatnThere was hardly any gin in the 5ltr jugs tasted like popnNobody seemed to know what they were doing waste of money
Great music venue. A little bit of consistency with the drinks prices though. Get charged a different amount each time!!
John and Emma have done a fantastic thing by bringing this venue to Rossendale. We had been aiming to visit far sooner and now wish we had. Intimate venue with a great atmosphere, sound and lighting are amazing and nothing less than a pro setup which adds to the experience. The VIP Section upstairs is a great touch and you don’t lose any of the atmosphere by being there either, actually great for people watching.nNeedless to say we will be back again soon. Thanks guys
