Stayed at St Marguerite for my partners birthday. The location is a flat 10 min walk to beach / prom / town and ideal to access the steam train / railway and bus station too. Parking outside on the quiet road or their drive. Robbie and Jane and Hercules are very welcoming. The room is very comfortable and breakfast is superb! Thanks for your hospitality and the card/eggs at Easter. Lovely thought and we left tired after much walking, and a superb stay with Robbie and Jane and Herc. Paul and Nadia x
We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the hospitality given over our 3 night stay. The breakfasts were great and and the rooms very clean. I would recommend staying here if Paignton is your destination. Thank you Robbie and Jane for an excellent stay. Rooms: Rooms were large and clean. Food & drinks: Breakfasts were a full menu of cereals, yoghurts, full English with tea, coffee and juices. Excellent!
We were given a warm welcome by Robby before being shown to our room. This was spacious, comfortably furnished and clean. We stayed for 7 nights, each day the room was cleaned with fresh towels provided 3 times during our stay. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a good selection of cooked, cereals and toast along with pots of tea and coffee. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Robby and Jane, not forgetting Hercules and Sampson their family pets.
It was a lovely guesthouse, the owners were very welcoming and accommodated us which was much appreciated. I had the most wonderful sleep, definitely one of the most comfiest beds I've slept in. The only small thing I would say as we stayed for 2 nights. It would of been nice if our towels were changed, a refresh of the room but other than that I would definitely stay again. Can't wait for my next visit :
We came to rest after a very busy few days celebrating my daughter's wedding in Newton Abbott and didn't want the long drive to Birmingham! We were welcomed with a smile. The room was lovely and clean and the bed super comfy. Breakfast was amazing with excellent quality sausage. Very friendly owners. Thank you for our well needed rest!
Me and my friend booked a BB, with St Marguerite guest house, the owners were very friendly, we met Robbie and his wife, the room was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious, definitely going back,10/10Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I enjoyed our 2nd stay and the warm welcome at St Marguerite. Robbie and Jane are friendly and welcoming and want you to enjoy your stay with them. Our room No1 was clean, spacious and had all the facilities we would want. The cooked breakfast is delicious and there are also plenty of alternatives to the breakfast menu. Free customer parking is most useful. The hotel itself is ideally located and is just a short walk 5 mins to Goodrington beach and gardens or the town centre. We'll certainly book St Marguerite again when we next plan a visit in Torbay.

A big thanks to Rob and Jane for letting us stay at their bed and breakfast we had a friendly welcome and nice and calm area stunning breakfast and clean and tidy room plus dog friendly which is a big + would not hesitate to stay there again. A very well done job the both of you take care cheers Derek,Wendy and buddy.
Excellent B&B. The room was comfortable and had everything you might need. The bed was particularly comfortable and the shower room was very well equipped . Breakfast is good with everything being freshly prepared to order. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone staying in Paignton.
