An absolutely terrible and inhumane experience! I arrived at St Margaret's Bus Station on June 10th at 12:30 AM for a one-hour connection.nTo my shock, while the station's indoor terminal was fully lit, all the doors were locked shut. This irresponsible decision forced passengers to wait outside in the freezing cold like they were homeless. It was shameful and heartbreaking to see people shivering in the dark with zero empathy from the management.nOn top of that, it was pure chaos. Many arriving passengers had no idea where to wait for their connecting buses. The station is huge, the buses stop outside, yet all the information screens displaying departure bays are located inside the locked building!nFor a major central bus station to lock its doors to travelers late at night is disgraceful. The management should be ashamed of this complete lack of organization and basic human decency.
Nice and clean bus station. Very convenient with easy access to the city, and it has toilets although I didn’t use them because I got off the bus and left.nnHowever, it closed too early. My return bus was at 12:40, but the station wasn’t open at all. It was freezing cold outside, even though the lights were on inside and the screens were still showing the bus times.
I visited the ladies’ washroom at St Margaret’s Bus Station in Leicester yesterday and was very disappointed with the cleanliness. There was no toilet paper available, and the toilets did not appear to have been cleaned properly. It was quite unpleasant and needs better maintenance.nnHowever, I would like to mention that the bus services themselves are very good and reliable, which I really appreciate. I just hope the station facilities, especially the washrooms, can be improved.

Last weekend I took the bus from Hinckley to Leicester. My return journey from St.Margaret's bus station.nWhile I waited for my bus I had time to quickly walk to the coffee shop in there and help myself to a magazine to read on my homeward journey.nI know from experience if you don't know where to get your bus all bus stops are well sign posted plus the staff at the help desk will happily answer any of your questions a smile and a thank you goes a long way!nCoffee shop within the bus station provides hot and cold food usually busy, staff again very friendly helpful always ensuring tables are wiped clean.nTheir toilets adequate unlike others Cities bus stations!nToilets there adequate unlike others Cities
